Descrição: O curso visa oportunizar aos alunos a compreensão e a atualização sobre a Saúde Única/Uma só saúde em uma perspectiva global. Serão abordados os seguintes temas: "Comitê Técnico Interinstitucional - Implementação do Plano de Ação Nacional de Uma Só Saúde" ("Interinstitutional Technical Committee - Implementation of the National One Health Action Plan"); Painel de Especialistas de Alto Nível da One Health (OHHLEP); Epidemiologia e Controle de Zoonoses Parasitárias em um Contexto de Saúde Global; O papel do Ministério da Agricultura e Pecuária (MAPA) na governança em Saúde Única no Brasil; Governança global para enfrentar a resistência antimicrobiana" One Health - experiência prática na Fiocruz; Mudanças climáticas e Saúde Única/; "Saúde Única e Segurança Alimentar - Organização das Nações Unidas para Agricultura e Alimentação (FAO)"; "Saúde Única e Segurança Alimentar, Segurança dos Alimentos e Produção Sustentável de Alimentos no Brasil; Saúde Única e Equidade; Governança "One Health" da resistência antimicrobiana vista através de uma lente de Ecologia Política Urbana; Iniciativa PREZODE (Preventing Zoonotic Disease Emergence) na aplicação da abordagem em Saúde Única; Governança em Saúde Única: Experiência da China; Experiência de Marrocos; A percepção do virologista na Saúde Única. Espera-se que ao final do curso ocorra o aprofundamento e ampliação do conhecimento sobre os tópicos abordados, e que o aluno seja capaz de identificar e caracterizar a Saúde Única e o uso deste conceito na preparação e resposta a doenças infecciosas zoonóticas, bem como o uso da abordagem para a governança no Brasil e em outros países. The course aims to provide students with an understanding and update on One Health from a global perspective. The following topics will be covered: "Interinstitutional Technical Committee - Implementation of the National One Health Action Plan"; One Health High-Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP); Epidemiology and Control of Parasitic Zoonoses in a Global Health Context; The role of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) in One Health governance in Brazil; Global governance to address antimicrobial resistance" One Health - practical experience at Fiocruz; Climate change and One Health; "One Health and Food Security - Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)"; "One Health and Food Security, Food Safety and Sustainable Food Production in Brazil; One Health and Equity; "One Health" governance of antimicrobial resistance seen through an Urban Political Ecology lens; PREZODE (Preventing Zoonotic Disease Emergence) initiative in the application of the One Health approach; One Health Governance: China's experience; Morocco's experience; The virologist's perception of One Health. It is expected that by the end of the course there will be a deepening and expansion of knowledge on the topics covered, and that the student will be able to identify and characterize One Health and the use of this concept in the preparation and response to zoonotic infectious diseases, as well as the use of the approach for governance in Brazil and other countries.
Objetivo Geral: Espera-se que ao final do curso ocorra o aprofundamento e ampliação do conhecimento sobre os tópicos abordados, e que o aluno seja capaz de identificar e caracterizar a Saúde Única e o uso deste conceito na preparação e resposta a doenças infecciosas zoonóticas, bem como o uso da abordagem para a governança no Brasil e em outros países. Justificativa: O conceito de Saúde Única, que envolve a tríade saúde humana, animal e ambiente está na agenda da Saúde Global e constitui uma abordagem multissetorial e multiprofissional voltada para o enfrentamento de problemas complexos em saúde. Entretanto, este conceito ainda é pouco conhecido no Brasil e sua aplicação prática é incipiente. Em trabalho recente sobre a governança em Saúde Única no Brasil foram observadas barreiras para a implementação desta abordagem, principalmente a limitada integração entre os Ministérios da Saúde, Agricultura e Pecuária e Meio Ambiente, bem como a falta de um sistema de informação integrado e de fluxos para o controle de zoonoses. Devem ser incentivados os mecanismos de colaboração entre setores e disciplinas com a inclusão de populações vulneráveis, para uma abordagem multissetorial e com equidade no país. Merece destaque a necessidade de ampliação do conhecimento sobre Saúde Única, tanto nos processos formativos em nível da graduação como da pós graduação. Portanto, este curso visa ampliar a disseminação do conceito de Saúde Única e trazer a experiência internacional sobre a governança utilizando esta abordagem, assim como a discussão atual sobre Saúde Única, com ênfase em discussões atuais como: mudanças climáticas, resistência antimicrobiana, insegurança alimentar, preparo e resposta a doenças infecciosa emergentes e reemergentes e degradação hídrica e do habitat. A participação de professores de outros países busca proporcionar ao curso a discussão atual da agenda em saúde global e troca de experiências sobre a governança e a aplicação do conceito de Saúde Única. The One Health concept, which involves the triad of human, animal and environmental health, is on the Global Health agenda and constitutes a multisectoral and multiprofessional approach aimed at tackling complex health problems. However, this concept is still little known in Brazil and its practical application is incipient. In a recent work on One Health governance in Brazil, barriers to the implementation of this approach were observed, mainly the limited integration between the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Livestock and the Environment, as well as the lack of an integrated information system and work process for the control of zoonoses. Joint actions between sectors and disciplines should be encouraged, with the inclusion of vulnerable populations, for a multisectoral and equitable approach in the country.It is worth highlighting the need to expand knowledge about One Health, both in training processes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Therefore, this course aims to expand the dissemination of the One Health concept and bring the international experience on governance using this approach, as well as the current discussion on One Health, with emphasis on current discussions such as: climate change, antimicrobial resistance, food insecurity, preparedness and response to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and water and habitat degradation. The participation of professors from other countries seeks to provide the course with the current discussion of the global health agenda and the exchange of experiences on governance and the application of the One Health concept.
