Proposta Pedagógica (Pedagogical Proposal)
Objetivo Geral (Main goal):
This course aims to promote the updating of higher education professionals in the health area, especially those who work or wish to work in the field of anatomic pathology on histopathology, immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology techniques for the histopathological diagnosis of
infectious diseases in humans and animals.
Objetivos educacionais/aprendizagem (Educational/Learning Objectives):
Consolidate knowledge with a view to incorporating technological innovations and awaken a critical sense to assess what has been found and also be prepared to analyze and interpret the unknown and the new, in relation to histological techniques for the diagnosis and epidemiological assessment of infections by infectious agents.
Metodologia (Methodology):
The lectures will be given remotely, synchronously and recorded using the Zoom and AVA Moodle platforms. The classes of foreign professors will be taught in English and those of Brazilian researchers in Portuguese. There will be a presentation of two recorded practical classes on the demonstration of the methodology of histological techniques of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization for the diagnosis of infectious agents.
