Posters

Abstracts for the poster sessions, describing ongoing research work on systems biology, can be submitted between April 1 and June 10 (extended), 2019. Abstract submissions should be sent to the e-mail address abstracts.systemsbio@fiocruz.br. The corresponding author should inform title, name and affiliations of all authors in the body of the message.

The abstract should not exceed 500 words. All abstract submissions must be in English. Please minimize the use of abbreviations and do not cite references in the abstract. The abstract must include the following separate sections:

Background: the context and purpose of the study
Methods: a concise description of the process by which the authors conducted the study 
Results: the main findings
Conclusions: a brief summary and potential implications
 
Selected posters will be invited to submit a book chapter to the new edition of the book Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Systems Biology, published by Springer in the Computational Biology series. This series is sponsored by the International Society for Computational Biology. The previous edition of this book (2018) is available at:
