Hello, welcome to the ONE HEALTH IN A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE course.

The course aims to provide students with an understanding and update on One Health from a global perspective. The following topics will be covered: "Interinstitutional Technical Committee - Implementation of the National One Health Action Plan"; One Health High-Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP); Epidemiology and Control of Parasitic Zoonoses in a Global Health Context; The role of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) in One Health governance in Brazil; Global governance to address antimicrobial resistance" One Health - practical experience at Fiocruz; Climate change and One Health; "One Health and Food Security - Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)"; "One Health and Food Security, Food Safety and Sustainable Food Production in Brazil; One Health and Equity; "One Health" governance of antimicrobial resistance seen through an Urban Political Ecology lens; PREZODE (Preventing Zoonotic Disease Emergence) initiative in the application of the One Health approach; One Health Governance: China's experience; Morocco's experience; The virologist's perception of One Health.

It is expected that by the end of the course there will be a deepening and expansion of knowledge on the topics covered, and that the student will be able to identify and characterize One Health and the use of this concept in the preparation and response to zoonotic infectious diseases, as well as the use of the approach for governance in Brazil and other countries.

This course will be remote, with a total workload of 30 hours.
Theoretical classes - 16 hours
Final work preparation - 14 hours
